  From ringing for a quote to finally unpacking the whole experience was amazing. Every person we dealt with was professional, friendly and helpful.   Bottom line: Unless you want a world of grief, avoid Crown Adelaide like the plague. Anecdotally, this has also been the experience of several other colleagues and family members.

  The door to door service meant we did not have to worry about our shipment at all and could concentrate on all the other things that needed sorting.

  The tracker system is an excellent tool for seeing where you container is at any point something which gave us peace of mind without having to contact anyone.

  We used Crown Relocations when we emigrated to Adelaide from the UK. We used the door to door service. We had a shared container.

  We have moved countries with Crown several times: Australia to the US and back; and from Australia to Canada. In general, we have had great interactions and great service. However, our latest experience has left us disillusioned and very, very unhappy. Crown Adelaide appear to be both incompetent at a fairly fundamental level and, frankly, don't appear to be very worried about the results of their incompetence. We moved a household from Toronto to Adelaide earlier this year. We have just bought a house in Adelaide, and delivery took place last week (after paying for storage since August). Approx 1/3 of our household is missing, and no-one at Crown Adelaide seems to have noticed (or care). Rigorous checklists of our belongings were made at the point of origin, but we've been told by Crown Adelaide that no-one at Crown Adelaide bothered to look at these checklists (which makes you wonder why such checklists exist in the first place). Apparently, we're meant to be happy that "they will now institute procedures to make sure that this doesn't happen again". No-one at Crown now knows where in the world our belongings are, no-one is returning calls, and we're stuck both without a significant fraction of our stuff and randomly missing bits of furniture (e.g., bits of a sofa and dining table chairs are missing). In addition, a lot of our stuff that was dismantled by Crown at origin (Toronto) are in pieces (e.g., gym equipment) and Crown Adelaide doesn't think it's their responsibility to put them back together again (this is very contrary to our previous experience of Crown).

  We thought the service both in the UK and Adelaide was excellent value for money. Did not matter what questions we asked we always received excellent customer service.

  Overall excellent service and if I ever move again I will certainly consider using Crown Relocations again.
